I decided to hang the big Crinoline “chop plate” on the dining room wall. This is the pattern of Mother’s wedding china. I happened to see it in a thrift shop and had to have it. This pattern was only made from 1939 to 1944. It is so obviously the choice of a very young bride — dainty, feminine, pink rosebuds with a blue ribbon twining. I got it for $4.50. I checked and there was one on ebay that sold for $100. I’m keeping it.
Very cool. Mother saw this and liked it.
