This incredible warm sunshine has produced a much-later-than-usual fall bloom.

After spending most of Saturday at The Rack Attack in Portland, we are ready to shuttle the little boats to all the rivers and streams in the Northwest.  Brandon worked all afternoon to get the rollers and saddles set just right.

And conveniently located just outside Nordstrom and Chico’s!

Drove up to Green Peter Reservoir yesterday for a great early-fall day of kayaking.

Katherine’s dear friend since UC Davis days, Elissa,  came for a visit this weekend.  I think they are even more beautiful today than they were on the day they got their undergraduate degrees.
