You can’t argue with science.

We have been reading recently about cases of rubella (measles) because of parents who, contrary to science, choose not to have their children vaccinated, believing that it leads to a higher incidence of autism. However, I have not read anything pointing out the dangers of measles.  It can lead to pneumonia, bronchitis, encephalitis, hearing loss, bleeding problems, and visual impairment.  The babies of over 80% of pregnant mothers who  contract measles will suffer death, growth retardation, cataracts, deafness, heart defects, or intellectual retardation.  This is not contrary to science.

Seems sort of like basing a serious parental decision on a hunch.
