There was a letter to the editor in this morning’s paper in which the writer recalled the idealized world depicted in illustrations of Norman Rockwell from the old days when we who were children then waited for the Saturday Evening Post to be delivered. He longs for today’s life to be like those pictures.
I guess he remember this:

He writes that gun murders cannot be controlled by more regulations. “We will eventually find the answer, but it won’t come through more gun control. It will come through the can-do spirit of our God-given freedom.”
Could he please be more specific? I have no clue what I am supposed to do.
